Switched alarm Contact that signals the status of the switch due to electrical trips (overloads, short circuits and through the SHT or UVT coils). It never acts for manual activations. Valid for the AKM2 and AKMN2 models of the Tracon brand.

The alarm contact allows immediate indication of circuit breaker tripping due to overload, short circuit, shunt trip or undervoltage trip conditions. It is very useful in automated plants where operators must be notified of changes in the electrical distribution system. This switch features a closed contact when the device is automatically tripped, i.e. this contact does not operate when the switch is operated manually. Its contact is open when the circuit breaker is reset.



This element is only valid to be mounted on Tracon brand molded case switches of 180A (AKM2-180) and 250A (AKM2-250, AKMN2-250) rating.
