Three-phase (4 pole) 40A 30 mA high immunity "F" type Circuit breaker , 4 poles for protection of people against insulation or derivation problems in electrical installations or elements. For use in domestic, tertiary and industrial sectors.

Tripping occurs when there are residual sinusoidal alternating currents as well as type A currents, as well as residual currents with multiple frequencies resulting from non-linear and distorted loads, such as those produced by frequency inverters (frequency converters). Type F residual current circuit breakers are capable of detecting multiple frequencies up to 1 kHz.

The detection, evaluation and tripping functions for these circuit breakers are not voltage dependent. The tripping is not affected by low DC residual currents up to 10 mA. The F type RCCB has a delayed tripping feature to prevent unwanted tripping. Another feature is the high immunity to 8/20us current waveforms (up to 3 kA). This circuit breaker is installed like any other RCCB. It complies with EN 61008 and EN 62423.

These differentials operate electromagnetically, which means that they do not lose their safety function in the event of voltage variations. Only with the shunt in the active phase does the differential trip. As it operates electromechanically, it provides a wide operating voltage range (230/400 VAC), which implies a high degree of immunity to input voltage variations, while also not losing the safety function in the event of a power failure in the neutral.
