Aluminum alloy supports with steel bearings offer a significant reduction in size and weight compared to the same size series on the market. This design promotes space and material savings, making it widely applicable in machine design.
Insert bearings (insert) with steel balls are grooved. Their outer rings have a spherical surface that is free to oscillate in the support track. This oscillation allows self-alignment in the support housing and compensates for any misalignment and eliminates, as far as possible, unwanted stresses between the shaft and the support. The bearing is fixed to the shaft using two hexagonal allen screws offset by 120º. Easy assembly and disassembly.
The bearing is sealed by a gasket made up of a protective plate and rubber seal. The bearing has a gasket on each side. This protection system prevents the escape of grease and any possible infiltration of contaminating agents, which is particularly suitable when there are very aggressive external agents, dust, liquids or when the machine works outdoors.
