Three-phase capacitor for power factor correction 7.5kvar 440V , used as a reactive power compensator in installations with the presence of electric motors, welding equipment..., generally used in high-level applications.

Power capacitors are manufactured in the MKP system, polypropylene with self-healing properties and extremely low dielectric losses. The condensers are filled with inert gas (N2).


This capacitor model is protected with an overpressure disconnector, which guarantees safe disconnection from the network in the event of overload or at the end of its useful life. It is equipped with discharge resistor. This type of capacitor has 3 capacitive elements connected in a triangle.

Dimensions:

The condenser box is protected against rupture by the overpressure disconnect. Its correct operation is only guaranteed if the specifications and conditions (voltage, current, temperature, correct installation and maintenance) are respected. Failure to comply with and/or exceed these conditions may cause the condenser box to rupture or even cause an explosion and subsequent fire.


Before connecting the equipment, check the connection and operation of the protection devices in the absence of voltage. It is recommended to check all electrical connections after a few days of operation and perform a visual inspection of all capacitors.

Minimum recommended distance between capacitors of 20mm located in the capacitor bank.
